This collaboration between Grainne Hambly and William Jackson features a variety of pieces on Irish and Scottish harps, concertina, whistles and bouzouki.

Grainne hails from Co Mayo, in the West of Ireland. She studied music at Queens University in Belfast, and while she started playing music on the whistle at an early age, she soon graduated to the concertina and the harp. She has toured extensively, both teaching and performing music.

William Jackson is an internationally renowned harper and composer. He was very much part of the tradtional music revival in Scotland in the 70s and 80s, being well known as one of the founding members of the band "Ossian". He went on to become an innovative composer, using a mix of traditional and classical styles. He also has taught and performed all over Europe and North America.
