Dowally

Dowally is fuelled by the fingers and faces of Dan Abrahams (guitar), Phil Alexander (accordion and piano) and Rachel Walker (fiddle, whistle and vocals). The band have also been lucky enough to have collaborators such as Siannie Moodie (clarsach) and Graham Coe (cello). Dowally’s unique and expressive folk sound has been described as “a lovely breath of fresh air”. Guitar, fiddle and accordion weave and dance together to create gritty grooves, joyous melodies and soaring harmonies, with improvisational sections that speak from the soul.
