Irish whistle and flute maestro Cathal McConnell, perhaps best known as a founder member of The Boys of The Lough, has joined forces with Scottish fiddler extraordinaire Duncan Wood to produce an album of tunes and songs from the great Celtic tradition. The album, recorded at ARC Studio in Aberdeenshire with producer Gavin Sutherland and engineer James Hunter, has been warmly received by the critics and has attracted real interest from fellow musicians and folk music enthusiasts. The legendary Gerry O'Connor and his son Donal appear as guests on one of the featured sets.
